Solent Yacht Services is founded by Andy Kinnaird. I am a commercial Yachtmaster instructor, and also a World Sailing Sea survival instructor with a keen interest in safety, currently I am training to become a marine surveyor and will be practicing from 2019.
Although i am based in Cowes on the Isle of Wight we can provide services throughout the UK, Europe and Worldwide through our network of qualified surveyors.
THERMAL IMAGING 3D/IR
3D/IR Thermography,three dimensional analysis software is used to examine findings in fine detail on composites ,wood and metallics.
ULTRASOUND
Used on composite and metallic built structures and components to identify thickness of materials and anomalies within a material.
LIVE THERMAL IMAGING
Confirms in real time on site when there are anomalies in composite timber and metallic materials.
ULTRAVIOLET LIGHT
Highlights anomalies on composites and metallic components and structures. It is also used with dye penetrant on metallics when required.
DYE PENETRATE
Identifies and highlights any anomalies within metallic components.
MOISTURE METER
Identifies moisture content in timber & GRP materials.
